Aeschynanthus gracilis, commonly known as the lipstick plant, is a stunning houseplant known for its vibrant red flowers that resemble tubes of lipstick.

• Light: Bright indirect sunlight
• Temperature: a minimum of  18°C in the growing season
• Watering: keep the soil moist but not wet
• Fertilizing: apply a balanced liquid fertilizer at 1/2 of the strength every 2 weeks during active growth
• Humidity: above 65%
• Soil: use a well-draining potting mix; a mix designed for African violets can work well
• Water: normal to moist water range
• Propagation: stem cuttings, leaf cuttings and from seeds
