Selaginella Papua ‘snow’

Selaginella found in South Papua New Guinea.  It has a special varigation where some parts of the leaves on the stem are completely white.

Selaginella is a genus of spike-moss plants that are native to tropical and subtropical regions. Selaginella plants are often grown as ground cover, but they can also be grown indoors in a terrarium.

• Light: Selaginella plants prefer full shade if grown indoors and partial shade outside
• Temperature: a minimum of  16°C in the growing season
• Watering: keep the soil moist, not wet during active growth and avoid letting the soil dry out completely
• Fertilizing: apply a balanced liquid fertilizer at 1/2 of the strength every 2 weeks during active growth
• Humidity: high humidity and regular misting
• Soil: well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter
• Water: normal to moist water range
• Light conditions: partial shade to dappled light
• Propagation: stem cuttings
