Own hybrid made in 2023, grown from seeds in 6cm pot.
Begonia U485 with nice blue iridescence and nice small dotted pattern mixed together with the smaller Begonia schmidtiana.
- Light: prefer bright, indirect light if grown indoors and partial shade outside
- Temperature: a minimum of 18°C in the growing season
- Watering: keep the soil moist but not waterlogged and avoid letting the soil dry out completely
- Fertilizing: feed every 2 weeks from early spring through summer with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer
- Humidity: above 70%
- Soil: prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter with some limestone chips
- Water: normal to moist water range
- Propagation: stem cuttings, leaf cuttings
