Deparia lancea is a woodland fern native from the Indian Subcontinent across East and Southeast Asia, and it thrives in cool, moist, shaded conditions with rich, well‑draining soil.

  • Light: prefer bright, indirect light all year-round and no direct sun
  • Temperature: a minimum of  16°C in winter and 20°C and more in the growing season
  • Watering: keep the soil always moist
