Mediocalcar decoratum

This plant, native to Papua New Guinea, thrives at elevations ranging from 1200 to 2400 metres above sea level. It prefers intermediate to cooler temperatures but can withstand some heat during the summer.

This species is very suitable for humid terrariums.

• Temperature: a minimum of  12°C
• Watering: epiphyte that loves daily misting
• Fertilizing: feed every 2 weeks from early spring through summer with an orchid fertiliser
• Humidity: above 70%
• Soil: epiphyte, mounted with some sphagnum
