Marcgravia plants are climbing vines that attach to surfaces using aerial roots. They exhibit a shingling growth pattern, where leaves overlap like roof shingles.
Light: prefer bright, indirect light if grown indoors and partial shade outside
Temperature: a minimum of 20°C in the growing season
Watering: keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged
Fertilizing: feed every 2 weeks from early spring through summer with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer
Humidity: above 60%
Soil: use well-draining soil with high organic content
I bought this plant and others. I live in Rome, and the plants arrived in excellent condition. They were exactly as pictured and in good health. The staff was very helpful in giving me advice on how to best arrange them in my terrarium. Truly excellent service.
