Freycinetia sp Malaysia is a rare climber from Malaysia. It is a perfect terrarium candidate as it supports very wet conditions.
This species is a lot smaller than the Freycinetia rigidifolia.
Freycinetia belongs to the flowering plant family Pandanaceae and is one of its five surviving genera. This genus includes approximately 180 to 200 species, most of which are climbers. Freycinetia is predominantly found in the Malesia region, particularly in areas like Borneo, Sulawesi, Papua, and Sumatra.
