Begonia U485 x jiewhoei
Own hybrid made in 2023, grown from seeds in 6cm pot.
Begonia U485 with nice blue iridescence and nice small star pattern mixed together with the green with white dots from Begonia jiewhoei.
- Light: prefer bright, indirect light if grown indoors and partial shade outside
- Temperature: a minimum of 18°C in the growing season
- Watering: keep the soil moist but not waterlogged and avoid letting the soil dry out completely
- Fertilizing: feed every 2 weeks from early spring through summer with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer
- Humidity: above 70%
- Soil: prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter with some limestone chips
- Water: normal to moist water range
- Propagation: stem cuttings, leaf cuttings
