Chamaeranthemum beyrichii, also known as Beyrich’s Daisy or Beyrich’s Chrysanthemum, is a flowering plant in the family Acanthaceae.

It is native to the seasonally dry tropical regions of Peru and Brazil.

  • Light: Bright indirect sunlight
  • Temperature: a minimum of  18°C in the growing season
  • Watering: water moderately, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings
  • Fertilizing: apply a balanced liquid fertilizer at 1/2 of the strength every 2 weeks during active growth
  • Humidity: above 50%
  • Soil: use a well-draining potting mix; a mix designed for African violets can work well
  • Water: normal to moist water range
  • Propagation: stem cuttings, leaf cuttings and from seeds
