Tillandsia crocata is native to Bolivia, Brazil and Paraguay. It produces yellow flowers with a very nice fragrance.

Tillandsia, also known as air plants, are a genus of tropical plants that are native to Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. They are popular houseplants that require very little care.

• Light: bright, indirect light all year-round and no direct sun
• Temperature: a minimum of  18°C in winter and 21°C and more in the growing season
• Watering: mist two times per week
• Fertilizing: apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks in spring and summer
• Humidity: high humidity and regular misting
• Soil: do not require soil and can be grown in a variety of mediums such as bark or rocks
• Water: normal to moist water range
• Light conditions: partial shade to dappled light
• Propagation: via offsets or seeds
